A leading automotive service provider in North Shields is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to drive aftersales business and manage a team of Service Advisors. The role involves overseeing performance through reporting and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers a competitive basic salary with OTE, along with 33 days of annual leave.

Lloyd North Tyneside is looking for anAssistant Service Manager.

Your role

Salary:Basic salary of £38,000 with OTE £48,000
Hours:08:00 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday) working 1 in vigorous Saturdays

  • In conjunction with the Head of Service, driveadditional business within the aftersales department using demographic data to highlight new opportunities.
  • Overseeing a team of Service Advisors managing daily workload to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Carrying out review meetings/reporting and improving on Department performance through target given objectives.
  • Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive impression of the Service Department.
  • An understanding ofthe warrantyprocess, ensuring claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To create robustreports for the Aftersales Manager on group and individual performance.
Your profile
  • Previous experience in the automotive industryas a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
  • Mechanical knowledge at basic level as a minimum.
  • Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Services department.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
  • Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge.
