About Us

What You Will Do

As Assistant Reservations Manager, you will assist in ensuring that a consistent and outstanding experience is provided by the Reservations Team for all internal and external guests. You will motivate and drive the Reservations Team to perform to exceed the hotel’s financial targets and to maintain a team‑oriented, professional and learning working environment.

  • Lead the Reservations Team and foster team dynamics to ensure focus on meeting guests’ needs and brand standards.
  • Ensure effective communication procedures enabling the operation to plan and deliver all guests’ requirements.
  • Complete weekly and monthly forecasting.
  • Maintain ultimate accuracy of information on reservations, groups and M&E (e.g. rate, account instructions, origin codes, country codes).
  • Develop team awareness of revenue capture, packages and accounting to enhance revenues and improve guest service.
  • Target the team on all up‑selling opportunities, utilising incentives as appropriate (e.g. executive room sales, priority club).
  • Monitor revenue recovered from no‑shows and late cancellations.
  • Motivate and drive the team ensuring a professional and team‑oriented working environment.

  • Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing teams.

  • A smart and professional appearance.
  • Proven track record in a similar position within a 4‑star hotel.
  • Good working knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
