Morris & Spottiswood is a leading provider of fitout, refurbishment, retrofit and construction services in the UK. An independently owned firm, with a proud track record of excellence, we aim high, act responsibly and value our staff and customers.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work within Morris & Spottiswood, England Division. This role will be based out of our Bristol Office; however Hybrid working is available.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will report to our Managing Surveyor and will support the commercial team where required in the day to day running of commercial activities on allocated project(s), ensuring delivery is in line with Company and customer expectations, whilst developing knowledge and skills.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, and you must hold a relevant quantity surveying degree qualification.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills, who is eager to learn about construction commercial processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork abilities, be proactive, committed to continuous improvement, and dedicated to maintaining compliance.

Remuneration

Competitive salary dependent on experience

5% Employers Pension Contributions

33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + an extra 1/2 day off for your birthday
