Job description

Keegans are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Employers Agent in London, full‑time/permanent position with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Assist as a Quantity Surveyor, including pre‑ and post‑contract work, cost reporting, cost planning, tender preparation, on‑site valuations and interim payment applications.
• Assist as an Employer’s Agent for both pre‑ and post‑contract administration, including instructions, chairing meetings and coordination.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate information for project implementation and completion.
• Work effectively as part of a team for project delivery.
• Engage in regular CPD activities and maintain awareness of legislation affecting quantity surveying and employer’s agent duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant university degree or equivalent.
• Experience as a trainee/assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience as a trainee/assistant employer’s agent (desirable).
• Experience working on residential properties is essential.
• Desirable knowledge of working with local authorities, housing associations or developers.
• Desirable knowledge on fire remediation, education or leisure.
• Working towards MRIC/MCIOB membership.
