A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager to oversee pump testing and ensure compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in pump performance, be knowledgeable about mechanical engineering principles, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This full-time position also requires effective communication and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience required.
  • Knowledge of QMS, EMS, OHSAS standards and 5S activities.
  • Capable of understanding and resolving customer work-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain ISO standards and requirements.
  • Perform testing of pump and prepare performance reports.

Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager page is loaded## Assistant Manager/Deputy Managerlocations: Kesurditime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdaytime left to apply: End Date: December 31, 2025 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: JR\_26916**Major responsibilities:** 1.Implementation and maintain requirements of ISO9001, EMS14001, OHSAS 450012.Perform testing of pump (hydraulic, mechanical performance, MRT, NPSH & special testings)3.Offer Pump performance/Inspections to customer and TPI4.Prepare performance/MRT Test reports and offer to TPI and customer for review.5.Development and modification of test field set up for new pump testing 6.Coordiantion with concern departments for analysis of received claims for appropriate failure causes, determine and implement effective measures with help of concern departments.7. Measure and monitor effectiveness of actions taken to reduce/avoid pump performance claims.8. Create Notification for pump performance issues, ensure closure of Notification with proper actions. 9.Perform monthly process and product audits, to verify actions are in place.10.Study customer specification, codes and identify correct and complete testing requirements.11. Review & approve Pump QCP & testing procedures.12.Coordinate with engineering & assembly department to resolve pump performance issues.13. Identify & drive improvement project at test bed.14. Prepare monthly MIS report of test bed. **Requirement profile:**Formal education: Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Professional experience: 8 to 10 yearsDefined competencies:### **Functional skills** – Knowledge of various pump performance methods and techniques. knowledge of Pump, Knowledge of National and International standards.
