Contract and Compensation

Fixed term until 31 May 2026, working 35 hours per week. Salary: £28,662 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme and generous annual leave.

Role Overview

The Estates and Facilities Team is looking for a highly motivated individual to provide an efficient, courteous and professional facilities service to staff and visitors at our Head Office in Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Greet staff and visitors
  • Assist staff with arrangements for meetings
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Keep accurate and up to date records
  • Maintain supplies of stationery and office refreshments
  • Deal with mail
  • Monitor cleaning standards
  • Record planned and reactive maintenance; report maintenance issues
  • Contribute to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for staff and visitors
  • Communicate effectively at all levels both face to face and by email
  • Be available for 8-hour days at the office; occasional out of usual hours work may be required with notice
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Reliable, approachable and helpful
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and operate and communicate effectively within a small team
  • Knowledge of health and safety in a working environment desirable
