Job summary

A healthcare products company in Rhymney is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support finance functions within the FMCG healthcare sector. You will manage month-end processes, assist in budget preparation, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have AAT Level 4 or be Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA along with experience in ERP systems like SAP. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to develop skills across the finance function.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 or actively studying ACCA/CIMA is required.
• Experience working with ERP systems would be beneficial.
• High attention to detail with excellent organization skills is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including journals and accruals.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
