Asset Manager

Location: London (hybrid)

Salary Banding: £90k - £110k + benefits

We are seeking an Asset Manager from the energy generation sector for a fast‑growing pioneer in renewable energy across energy management, battery storage systems, and solar.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic and commercial contract lifecycle management of our electricity supply contracts across our diverse Renewable Generation portfolio including Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Solar and Wind.
  • Manage high‑value client relationships across customers, trading partners and suppliers, ensuring contracts are structured to support business requirements.
  • Drive the commercial performance of our assets through optimisation of revenue and asset performance.
  • Maximise our asset values, working with operations, finance and technical teams, tracking and reporting ROI, yield and revenue.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the UK electricity market to lead on asset monetisation routes.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in contract management or commercial operations within the renewable or power generation sector.
  • Deep understanding of the UK electricity market and regulatory landscape.
  • Ideally a degree in energy management engineering or an associated commercial discipline.
  • Knowledge of the Capacity Market and REGO schemes.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, experience in revenue modelling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced SME environment with a hands‑on approach.
