Hours of work: 07:00 - £17:00 Monday to Thursday (Overtime available on Fridays as and when the business requires)
Salary : £12.80 per hour

We are recruiting an Assembly Operative to join our clients busy production team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for assembling products to a high standard, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency in every unit produced.

Key responsibilities
  • Accurately assemble components and finished products following written instructions, drawings and work orders
  • Perform quality checks at each stage and report any defects
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Assist with packing and labelling finished goods as required

Essential skills and experience
  • Proven ability to assemble products to a high standard with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and simple technical drawings
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is advantageous
