We’re looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to join our dynamic production team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble complex engineering machinery to exacting standards using technical drawings, hand and power tools, and precision measuring equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mechanical assembly experience to contribute to our industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble agricultural and industrial machinery using technical drawings and specifications
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices
  • Configure equipment based on the materials used in construction
  • Perform routine equipment checks and ensure proper setup
  • Follow health and safety regulations and wear required PPE
  • Conduct quality inspections to meet production standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers and trade professionals
Qualifications & Skills
  • City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualifications preferred
  • Apprentice-trained or demonstrable hands-on experience in mechanical assembly
  • Bench fitting or mechanical fitting certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of safe operating procedures
  • Confidence using overhead cranes (training provided)
  • Proficiency in welding is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • 20 days annual holiday, Bank Holidays and long service scheme

Hours of Work
  • Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 17.00
  • Fridays – 08.00 – 16.30
