Responsibilities
- Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager, liaising with customers, branches and managers to achieve sales and growth targets, providing seamless and outstanding customer service for queries, quotations and orders.
- Managing quotes and orders from inbound phone calls and making outbound calls to your portfolio of customers to maintain and follow up on all quotations, converting enquiries into sales contracts.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered by Travis Perkins, offering alternatives and associated products to requested items.
- Working directly with preferred suppliers/manufacturers to source equipment on behalf of the customer.
Required Experience
- Previous sales experience, ideally in a similar environment.
- Proactive approach with an ability to spot opportunities to up‑sell and increase sales and profit with customers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders.
