Responsibilities
  • Work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations
  • Participate in the process of establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan for a region
  • Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements
  • Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge
  • Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions)
  • Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in Company CRM systems)
  • Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments
  • Meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) goals with sales and margins
Qualifications

  • Able to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude

Area Sales Manager Has
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3 years’ experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/ mechanical systems, preferably with an international company
  • Skills in software such as a CRM system, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal English
  • The commitment to travel within the assigned sales territory
