Role Overview: We are seeking an Architecture Team Leader to join the UK Architecture Team and lead remote design delivery and team management. The role requires full remote collaboration, strong architectural expertise, and an active SC clearance.
- Lead design vision and conceptual development for a diverse portfolio of architectural projects.
- Manage and mentor a remote design team, fostering collaboration with consultants and contractors.
- Oversee the entire design process from client consultation to construction documentation and site supervision support.
- Ensure designs align with client brief, budget, regulatory requirements, and sustainability commitments.
- Present design concepts and proposals to client and stakeholder groups.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Champion design innovation and challenge conventional approaches.
- Professional architectural qualification (RIBA Part III, ARB, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10-15 years progressive architectural design experience, with a significant portion in a leadership or principal role.
- Demonstrated track record delivering large-scale, complex projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional design talent, creativity, and strong aesthetic sense supported by a compelling portfolio.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes and sustainable design principles (LEED, BREEAM).
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in client management and business development.

Principal Architectural Design Lead – Fully Remote
Location: Glasgow (remote)—anchor in Glasgow, Scotland, UK
Full remote position enabling high-profile large-scale architectural projects from conceptualisation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design vision and conceptual development for prestigious architectural projects (commercial, residential, institutional).
- Manage and mentor design teams remotely, fostering collaboration.
- Oversee entire design process from client consultation, feasibility, detailed design, construction documentation, to site supervision support.
- Ensure designs align with client briefs, budgets, regulatory requirements, and sustainability commitments.
- Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and review boards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of architectural trends, new materials, building technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Champion design innovation, challenge conventional approaches to create unique, functional, aesthetically compelling spaces.
- Review and approve design deliverables, ensuring quality, consistency, adherence to standards.
- Contribute to business development by participating in client pitches and proposals.
Qualifications:

Engineering and Design Lead – Water Projects (Leeds)
Location: Leeds, West Midlands, UK – major water programme design excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own technical strategy and design management plan.
- Lead design hub, maintain essential documentation and design risk register.
- Manage design resources, oversee specialist leads (Modelling/Geotech).
- Continuous improvement through QA audits and design risk register.
- Provide programme reporting on blue/green solutions, OPEX, carbon.
- Write project case studies and awards submissions.
- Lead design resource plan, maintain design change log.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and design communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading and managing design teams in regulated water sector.
- Strong background in engineering design, consistency, quality and process improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, influence senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with water industry standards and delivery mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement technical strategies and design management plans.
