Aylesbury Fire Systems are offering two apprenticeship roles to individuals keen to build a career as Fire and Security Engineers. This is a chance to join an established local business and train in both specialisms through a structured and supported learning programme.
Apprentices accepted onto the programme will attend their formal training at the Watford centre, beginning in September 2025.
Aylesbury Fire Systems, a trusted provider of fire protection and security services for commercial, healthcare and educational environments. We are based in Buckinghamshire with a dedicated support team based in the office.
As an apprentice, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers, gaining practical experience across a variety of systems and environments. You’ll be enrolled on the Level 3 Fire Emergency and Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.
The training provider, Skills for Security, delivers tuition on a block release basis at their Watford facility – you’ll attend for one week every eight weeks.
During each training block, you’ll be expected to complete all assignments and gather evidence from real work scenarios to support your development.
This is a three-year (36-month) apprenticeship. Full participation and commitment throughout the duration is essential. Please check that you meet the entry criteria before applying.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a permanent role as a qualified Fire and Security Engineer will be offered.
