A leading educational institution in Burnley is offering a brickwork apprenticeship. As an apprentice, you will learn essential skills for the construction trade, including masonry and project handling, with opportunities for progression to an advanced Level 3 apprenticeship. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 3 or above.
As a brickwork apprentice you will learn how to carry outcomplex building projects according to set specifications. This apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and skills to work for leading employers in the construction trade, on national and international projects.
A minimum of English and Math's GCSEs at Grade 3 or above.
Knowledge learning outcomes will be assessed via an on-screen assessment which is externally set and marked by the awarding organisation supported by several theoretical assessments. You will also complete a range of practical assessments within Themis at Burnley College. Performance learning outcomes will require auditable evidence of competent performance from the workplace which demonstrates your ability against set assessment criteria, completing a NVQ portfolio of evidence.
On successful completion of this course you may progress on to the advanced craft Level 3 apprenticeship in Brickwork
