Role Description

The Apprenticeship programme offers an exciting opportunity to jump straight into the professional world while studying for professional qualifications. As an Apprentice you will actively drive your career development, be exposed to a variety of projects across the business, and receive structured on‑the‑job training, mentoring, and funding for relevant accreditations. You’ll be supported by your line manager to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to meet your apprenticeship and work towards accreditation or chartership where applicable.

Role Accountabilities

As a Project Manager you’ll work within a diverse team, cultivate a deep understanding of our sectors, build long‑term relationships with clients and colleagues, and find ways to improve our working methods. You’ll monitor progress of project work, liaise with clients, implement timely resolution to issues, identify risks in delivery, and coordinate with contractors, all while building your skill‑set.

On this apprenticeship you will complete the BSc Project Management Degree Apprenticeship on a day release basis, through our training providers Coventry University and the University of Exeter.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, grade 4‑9, including Maths and English, and 3 A‑Levels (or equivalent) at BBC minimum or a BTEC National Diploma at DMM minimum.
  • UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course and right to work in the UK.
  • 18 years old (Level 6) with full‑time education completed before the apprenticeship starts.
  • Demonstrated Arcadian skills: resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required; virtual working is embraced where possible.
