We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to join our team at the Lynton Veterinary Group, working across our Spinney Hill and Horsell branches. This is a part‑time, permanent position that provides excellent clinical exposure and the chance to work alongside a friendly, supportive team.

Your day‑to‑day duties will vary by shift and may include assisting our veterinary surgeons and nurses, undertaking reception and administrative tasks, supporting with laboratory work, and maintaining a clean, sterile working environment. We are ideally looking for someone with previous small animal experience, but this is not essential. Most importantly, you will be committed to animal welfare, proactive, and able to work confidently as part of a team.

About Us

Lynton Veterinary Group is a long‑established small animal practice with branches in Woking, Bagshot, and Addlestone. We are proud of our strong local reputation as a trusted “village vet,” offering exceptional service and value to our loyal client base.

We continue to invest in our facilities, including a brand‑new, purpose‑built practice in Woking, with ongoing refurbishments at our other sites to maintain the same high clinical standards. Our main site also hosts a modern, fully equipped grooming salon.

Our heritage, community focus, and commitment to gold‑standard care remain at the heart of everything we do.

The Perfect Fit

You’ll be joining a welcoming and supportive team comprising 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants, and an experienced Reception team. Our culture is warm, collaborative, and genuinely family‑like.

We keep essential SOS chocolate stations in every practice and are lucky to have some exceptionally talented bakers on our team! But we are equally committed to the mental and physical well‑being of our people, participating in charity events such as Ride for Dementia and Relay for Life to promote teamwork and support meaningful causes.

If you’re enthusiastic, compassionate, and ready to contribute to a positive practice culture, we’d love to hear from you.
