What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Ownership: Define and execute the Microsoft partnership strategy across EMEA to drive co-sell, go-to-market (GTM) alignment, and solution development with Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365, Security).
  • Regional Execution: Act as the key regional interface between Microsoft’s EMEA field sales, partner, and technical teams and Veeam’s sales, marketing, and technical resources.
  • Pipeline Development: Drive joint pipeline generation and acceleration across strategic countries, engaging field sales, distributors, and top channel partners.
  • Joint GTM: Build joint business plans and regional campaigns with Microsoft’s Segment and Industry teams to drive awareness, lead generation, and revenue.
  • Partner Enablement: Collaborate with Veeam channel and Microsoft CSP/MSP ecosystem to activate Microsoft offerings and encourage bundling with Veeam’s Data Protection and Backup for M365/Azure.
  • Executive Engagement: Manage and expand C-level relationships with Microsoft’s regional leadership (Partner Development Managers, Azure Specialists, and Account Executives).
  • KPIs & Reporting: Track and report key alliance KPIs including pipeline influence, co-sell attach rates, and strategic wins. Own quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Internal Evangelism: Serve as the Microsoft subject-matter expert internally, influencing product, sales, and marketing teams to align with Microsoft’s priorities.
  • Innovation Champion: Identify new strategic motions with Microsoft (e.g., AI/data services, security, sustainability, etc.) and bring them to Veeam product and GTM leadership.
What You’ll Bring
  • 7–10 years of alliance, business development, or partner sales experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country Microsoft relationships (ideally within ISVs, system integrators, or security/data protection vendors).
  • Experience driving Azure and Microsoft 365 co-sell or marketplace-based sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s GTM models, IP Co-sell motion, Azure consumption metrics, and partner incentive structures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data protection, backup, or IT operations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and technical teams.
