STS Aviation Services is hiring an experienced Aircraft NDT Specialist to join our growing team in Manchester. This full-time role is ideal for an established NDT professional ready to support complex aircraft maintenance programmes while progressing toward a future leadership position.

The Opportunity

Initially, you will utilise your expertise to perform Level 2 NDT inspections across approved methods, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. Alongside day-to-day inspection work, you will follow a structured and funded development pathway designed to prepare you for an NDT Manager role.

This development pathway includes:

  • Successfully achieving NDT Level 3 certification through funded examinations
  • Leading the development and refinement of NDT processes within the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
  • Supporting technical oversight and continuous improvement initiatives across NDT operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Current NDT Level 2 or Level 3 certification in relevant inspection methods
  • Proven hands-on experience as an NDT Technician, preferably within aviation or aerospace environments
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to safety and quality
  • Clear interest in career progression, leadership, and management responsibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support future team leadership and process development
