What this job involves

As an Air Conditioning Engineer at JLL, you will help create optimal work environments by designing, installing, and maintaining air conditioning systems on the site at Rolls‑Royce. Your work will directly impact the comfort and efficiency of our clients' spaces.

Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on-site in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide professional service across a varied selection of air conditioning systems and will be part of a team that delivers both reactive and preventive maintenance.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Attend and complete PPMs & reactive works as scheduled, including breakdowns.
  • Perform install work (retrofit and system replacements).
  • Troubleshoot and fault‑find all A/C systems.
  • Produce quotations for remedial works following service visits.
  • Work on splits, VRF systems, AHUs, DX systems, and some central plant.
  • Work independently or with team members as necessary.
  • Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
  • C&G 2079 Cat1
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • F‑Gas certification
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background
  • Knowledge of building fabric and experience with basic fabric reactive repairs
  • Sound understanding of health & safety obligations for maintenance activities
  • Ability to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled call‑out rota
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • UK driving licence
  • Proficiency in IT packages including Outlook and Word
