The AI Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role within Convatec’s AI Centre of Excellence (CoE), serving as both a strategic and technical leader in the design, development, and deployment of AI‑powered and data‑driven solutions. This senior‑level position is responsible for shaping and executing Convatec’s enterprise AI strategy, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services, Microsoft Fabric, and modern DevOps and MLOps practices to accelerate transformation across the business.
The role incorporates direct leadership of a core team of AI and Data Engineers, with four direct reports, and extends to managing engagement with a wider network of over ten external consultants, including UX leads, Power BI experts, Fabric and enterprise architects, cross‑functional programme leads, and data analysts. The AI Delivery Manager will also work in close partnership with Convatec’s internal delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with strategic programmes.
In addition to technical leadership, the role carries accountability for the delivery and execution of AI and data projects with budgets of up to $1.2 million. This includes oversight of project planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The position demands a blend of hands‑on engineering expertise, team leadership, and strategic vision, making it central to the success of Convatec’s AI‑first transformation.
