Job summary

A leading defense technology company in Brighton is seeking an Assembly Operator to build and test precision electro/mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have an electro-mechanical engineering background and experience with testing equipment like DMMs and oscilloscopes. Qualifications

  • Electro-Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with ATE and electronic test equipment beneficial.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build and test precision electro/mechanical motors and components.
  • Conduct electrical tests and inspections using a variety of equipment.
  • Complete documentation and maintain traceability of parts.
  • Support design department in trials and assist training of staff.

Skills

Electro-Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) experience
Precision measuring equipment usage
Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
