A leading facilities management company in Birmingham is seeking a Shift Assistant Estates Manager. This full-time role involves managing a team, overseeing maintenance services, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must possess key mechanical and electrical qualifications. Equans is looking for a Shift Assistant Estates Manager to join our team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 39.375 hours per week on a shift pattern of four days on, four days off, consisting of two days 0700‑1900 and two nights 1900‑0700.

The role is to assist the Estates Management team in the provision of Hard FM & Lifecycle Services whilst delivering a high‑quality, statutory‑compliant maintenance service. Responsibilities include the operation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical engineering services within a multidisciplinary hard service team environment.
This role includes a DBS Standard check; therefore the ability to pass is essential.
