Viewfield Medical Practice
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive medical practice. Ideally, we are looking for a full time ANP up to 37.5 hours per week.
You will possess the relevant knowledge, skills and qualifications (advanced clinical examination, clinical decision making and non‑medical prescribing) that will allow you to autonomously use your high level of clinical judgement to assess and treat patients who are mostly presenting with acute illnesses.
We are a strong and supportive multidisciplinary team, who share a common goal in delivering high quality care to our patients. We are friendly, welcoming and believe in a healthy work/life balance. We have a daily morning meeting as well as ensuring that breaks are taken together. We participate in PLT but also schedule regular in‑house training throughout the year.
We have 3 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, an ANP (the successful candidate would be in addition to this), 2 practice nurses, a sexual health specialist nurse and an admin team of 9. Additionally, through the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) we have 2 part‑time ANP’s, a Paediatric ANP, a Mental Health Nurse, an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner a Phlebotomy Service and a Pharmacotherapy Team.
We have around 11,000 patients in our city centre practice which is based in purpose built premises in the heart of Stirling. There is free on‑site parking and Stirling is accessible through excellent motorway and public transport links.
Salary will be in the region of Band 7.
