A local council in Warrington is seeking an Adult Social Worker for their Specialist Teams. The successful candidate will provide assessments and support to individuals with complex needs, including physical disabilities and mental health issues. You will work within legislation such as the Care Act and be part of a supportive team with opportunities for training and development. The role initially offers a 6-month contract within the Adult Social Care department.
Our Client Warrington Council is looking for an Adult Social Worker for their Specialist Teams.
We are currently looking for an agency Social Worker for an initial 6-month contract on our Sensory, Physical and Neurological Team, within Adult Social Care Specialist Teams.
The teams consist of a Team Manager, a Senior Practitioner, Experienced Social Workers, Social Workers (including ASYE) and Community Care Workers. The teams also have access to administration support.
The service primarily works with people under the age of 65 years with a diverse range of complex needs including Physical Disability, Mental Health, Learning Disability, Acquired Brain Injury and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. We provide our Social Workers with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge through training and professional development with Court of Protection, S42 Adult Safeguarding Enquiries, Continuing Health Care, Best Interest Decisions and Mental Capacity Assessments. You will work within the legislation of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act to deliver personalised assessments, support planning and reviews to achieve holistic outcomes. We are looking for people with aauspiel attitude and in return, as a valued member you will be fully supported with your caseload.
