Administration Assistant - 1 year fixed term contact

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to join our administration team at our Rother operational site in the Household Waste Division. If you're looking for a role that offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to make an impact, this is a great opportunity to grow with us!

Your core responsibilities
  • Responding to day-to-day administration queries via phone and email.
  • Assisting the team with fleet paperwork, round information distribution, and maintaining PPE records.
  • Ensuring site stock levels are kept up-to-date and managing waste weight ticket information.
  • Key tasks include data entry into company databases, collating and sending information via email, and managing spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Using company systems to ensure stock is ordered efficiently.

  • Friendly, approachable, and a true team player – someone who enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals.
  • A clear communicator – you should be able to confidently engage with team members and external customers via phone, email, and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn – you'll be keen to pick up new skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
