Can you help organise Norwich Community Gardens Festival? We need someone interested in liaising with community groups and spreading the word about their work.
Community groups all around Norwich are getting together to look after green spaces in their neighbourhoods. They transform unloved alleyways and abandoned landfill-covered corners into beautiful community spaces that improve biodiversity, help with residents' mental health, and even provide food for their neighbourhoods.
The Norwich Community Gardens Festival celebrates these groups and their green spaces, from gardens to verges, from allotments to woods. It exists to say thank you to the volunteers, to spread the word about their work and to get more people outside enjoying the results. The festival will happen on 25-26 April 2026.
We are looking for volunteers to help coordinate data about the different gardens taking part and what they are planning to do, and create posts for social media to promote the different events happening during the festival.
