Reporting to our Head of Financial & Insurance Risk, t he successful candidate will get involved in a wide variety of risk and actuarial oversight work including:

• Working as part of the team to deliver the Pillar 2 methodology, models and ORSA results.
• Preparation of the annual ICARA reporting for SFAM.
• Preparing quarterly risk reporting for submission to Executive and Risk Committees.
• In-depth risk assurance around key projects, asset management activities, and product development.
• Managing the emerging risk identification process.
• Supporting the maintenance of the risk management framework, including setting risk appetite and risk policies
• Supporting the business to develop and maintain a clear risk-culture.
• Building relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Attending key committees and providing risk oversight.
• Presenting reports to a range of internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with experience of having worked across a range of actuarial topics within the pensions, life insurance and/or savings sector. You will have strong attention to detail with a risk-based mindset and financial modelling experience including testing and documenting.
