A leading mutual life insurance organization in Glasgow is seeking a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join their risk and actuarial oversight team. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to work on various risk management tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in pensions, life insurance, or savings, along with a strong attention to detail and financial modelling skills. The position offers a hybrid working model and a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days annual leave.

Reporting to our Head of Financial & Insurance Risk, t he successful candidate will get involved in a wide variety of risk and actuarial oversight work including:
The successful candidate will be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with experience of having worked across a range of actuarial topics within the pensions, life insurance and/or savings sector. You will have strong attention to detail with a risk-based mindset and financial modelling experience including testing and documenting.
