Welcome to Hastings Direct – From our Group HR Director Pam Angel: We are a digital insurance provider with ambitious plans to become the best and biggest in the UK market. Huge investments in data and tech, together with a commitment to our 4Cs culture, are driving our growth.
Over 4 million customers rely on us, but we’re looking to expand further. If this advert has captured your interest, we hope you’ll consider joining us for an exciting and rewarding career path.
The Pricing, Data and Analytics Graduate Programme offers three pathways: Data Science, Engineering, and Actuarial. You can apply to multiple pathways if you wish.
The Actuarial Pathway is designed to develop advanced analytical skills and deliver commercial value. You will work closely with recognized experts to analyse large data sets and create data‑led solutions that integrate actuarial principles and predictive modelling.
The scheme runs for two years. During this time you will complete placements in Underwriting, Retail Pricing, and Claims Analytics to build knowledge, technical skills, and an understanding of these departments, preparing you for a promotional analytics‑type role by the end of the programme.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this graduate programme. Applicants must prove they have the right to work in the UK for the full two‑year duration of the programme.
We offer a competitive and flexible salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
Our 4Cs principles focus on creating the right culture for colleagues and equipping them with the tools to deliver good outcomes for customers, grow the company sustainably, and invest in the communities we serve.
