Permanent part‑time contract – 24 hours per week, £12.80 per hour. Shift Pattern: Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
An activity coordinator in our care home is the chief fun officer. You create a vibrant, joy‑filled atmosphere for residents by designing and running events and hobbies such as arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, pub quizzes, gentle chair‑based exercise, garden parties and more. Working closely with residents and care teams, you develop tailored activity plans and bring people together for laughter, camaraderie and shared experiences. Activities are not only fun; they are also therapeutic, boosting residents’ spirits and well‑being.
You are a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork, and effectively prioritise as tasks arise. You are passionate about caring for others, sharing your sense of humour and spreading infectious enthusiasm for making people’s lives better.
