About the Role

Fordingbridge, an Allegra Care Home, delivers person‑centred care with a focus on homely activities, life skills and maintaining independence. We are looking for an Activity Assistant to work with our household teams.

Job Details

Location: Fordingbridge, New Forest.

Hours: 30 hours a week. Alternate weekends may be part of the schedule; we are happy to discuss your schedule at interview.

What you'll do

You will assist with planning and delivering a wide variety of activities based on the individual needs of our residents.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, encouraging residents to participate and enjoy their day.

You will maintain accurate records and adapt to the dynamic environment of a lively care home.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Fun, compassionate, and a ‘can do’ personality.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to plan activities.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • IT and organisational skills are advantageous but a full training package is provided.
