Activities Coordinator – Papworth Trust are seeking an Activities Coordinator to join the Cambridge team in their day centre, in this part‑time, permanent position.

About the role:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will support people with diverse needs, including learning and physical disabilities, to enjoy meaningful and engaging experiences. Working hours for this role are 30 hours per week, 8am – 4pm, Monday - Thursday in the day centre.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver activities that promote learning, recreation, and skill development, encouraging active participation
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals, and community partners to enhance services and inclusion
  • Keep accurate records and follow policies, with a strong focus on safeguarding, safety, and confidentiality
About you:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be enthusiastic, compassionate, and passionate about empowering people to reach their goals. A strong communicator with a positive, flexible attitude, you should work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and running engaging sessions is essential. Experience in a Day Centre is desirable, and knowledge of British Sign Language or Makaton is an advantage. Creative individuals with transferable skills are also welcome to apply.
