MCS Group are looking for an Payroll Processor to join an accountancy practice based in Dungannon.

The Company:

Our client is a modern and dynamic accountancy practice based in Dungannon. They provide a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Tax, Corporate Finance and Business Advisory services to their extensive customer base across NI & Ireland. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Payroll Processor to their Dungannon office.

The Role:

As the successful Payroll Processor you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Handle payroll queries, deductions, statutory payments, and HMRC submissions confidently.
  • Collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager, providing regular updates and escalating issues where needed.
  • Support the wider Business Services team with accounts work as required.
  • Assist with tax-related tasks during busy periods, including basic corporate or personal tax preparation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
  • Contribute to process improvements and uphold consistent standards across the payroll and business services function.
The Person:

The successful Payroll Processor will meet the following criteria:

  • Payroll processing experience
  • Open to Practice / Industry and Bureau
  • Client Management experience is desirable;
  • Strong communication experience;
  • Strong IT skills.
