• Around 5 years in engineering, preferably in FTI design.

Job Description:

DESCRIPTION

An opportunity for an FTI Installation Design Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the FTI Design Team.

The FTI Design department is charge of the design of Flight Test installations and instrumentation needed for different purposes as: Certification, Qualifications, Testing and Improvement of our products.

The team is multidisciplinary, developing electrical and mechanical design. The jobholder will reinforce our team, who will take part in the definition and implementation of FTI installations in Airbus Defence & Space Programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The jobholder will be responsible for:

• Functional Electric
• Wiring Diagrams Preparation
• Electrical System Installation Design and Integration
• Mechanical System Installation, Design and Integration
• Configuration Control
• Management activities: planning elaboration, subcontracting activities follow-up, budget controller.

SKILLS

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: Around 5 years in engineering, in design activities. Preferable in FTI.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.
• Technical knowledge: professional level of CATIA. Desirable 3DX, SEE-XP and Capital Logic.
• Valuable / Nice to have: experience in manufacturing engineering.
