Job description
Responsibilities
- Work towards awareness, compliance and documentation in data protection as Data Protection Coordinator in the CTO division.
- Represent the IONOS Group competently and securely in audits and certifications, including externally.
- As a central point of contact, advise employees and managers in the CTO board area on data protection issues and develop recommendations for data protection-compliant solutions to issues in the business area under supervision.
- Act as an interface to the Data Protection Officer and her team.
- Report on activities and maturity levels of the management systems in a target group-oriented manner and actively promote these.
- Work closely with organizational and technical security issues as part of the information security leadership team.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed university studies in computer science, industrial engineering, data protection or similar, or many years of professional experience in the field of data protection, information security or comparable areas.
- You are familiar with GDPR and other relevant international data protection regulations of the IONOS markets and can apply them practically to the requirements of a leading international hosting and cloud provider.
- A certificate as proof of expertise as a “Data Protection Officer” or “Data Protection Auditor” is a plus. You achieved results by convincing specialist departments in an international organization and motivating them to implement standards and processes.
- Knowledge of international and national standards and norms such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701 or 27018, ISO 50001, BSI IT-Grundschutz or C5 is helpful.
- You can familiarize yourself with new topics very quickly and are used to getting to the heart of complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group and communicated directly. You find it easy to create awareness of privacy issues among your discussion partners.
- You enjoy finding smart, economical solutions when implementing standard requirements.You can communicate confidently orally and in writing in English and German.
