Operations Manager jobs in United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an Operations Manager with 10 years of experience in construction operations management for one of our clients, a leading construction company based on the East Coast of the United Arab Emirates (Fujairah).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager located in Fujairah. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficiency within the organization.

1. Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet operational objectives.
2. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to address challenges, improve processes, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
3. Monitor construction site operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control.
4. Drive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain high operational standards across all projects.
5. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment for all projects.
6. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
7. Supervise and mentor site supervisors and junior managers to enhance operational performance and team capabilities.
8. Implement risk management strategies and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
9. Prepare and present operational performance reports and updates to reporting.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 5 to 10 years of experience in construction operations management, with significant experience working in the UAE.
3. In-depth understanding of UAE construction industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Expertise in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Procore.
5. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
6. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring operational efficiency.
