On behalf of a client, we are looking to hire a Head of Compliance.
Job Description:
- Assumption of internal control functions, following up the performance of the company and its staff and their compliance with the legislation applicable in the UAE and the internal by-laws of the company.
- Updating and organizing internal by-laws and managing conflicts of interest between the company and clients, ensuring the continuity of the company to reform its business in a sound legal manner as detailed in the guidelines issued by SCA.
- Handling any client complaints.
- Any other AML/Compliance duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- University degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets/financial markets or related activities.
- Other degrees must have at least 10 years of experience in capital markets/financial markets and related activities.
- Must have passed the UAE Financial Rules and Regulations examination.
- Must have passed the Combating Financial Crime examination.
- Valid UAE visa and passport.
