Job Title: Transportation Specialist

Job Description: Join our dynamic Inbound Transportation Team where you will manage scheduled pickups, re-route hauls, resolve issues, and perform data analysis. You will work collaboratively with several vendors to ensure seamless logistics operations, handling hauls typically involving 18-wheelers with freight.

• Meet every morning to review plans and recap prior day activities.
• Be assigned to vendors and use Excel to track vendor activity.
• Reach out to vendors to identify and resolve issues.
• Analyze data to solve shipment problems, such as determining why a shipment wasn’t picked up.
• Work with approximately 50 different vendors.

• At least 3 years of professional work experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, business analytics, and business intelligence.

• Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience working in a start-up environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work with multiple screens (approximately 15 tabs at once) and a strong problem-solving attitude.
• Customer obsession, bias for action, and delivering results.
• Stability and reliability in previous roles.
• History of promotion and transportation experience is advantageous.
• BI training, Business Analytics experience or certification is a plus.
• Experience in banking industry, analyst roles, management, or corporate environments.

This role is situated in a start-up area offering significant growth opportunities and potential conversion to a full-time position. You will be part of a diverse and collaborative team where flexibility and innovation are key. The role involves working in an office environment with a direct impact on up to 1000 shipments per week. Expect to handle multiple tasks on multiple screens.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
