Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement components at all layers of the system, including kernel, synchronization primitives, resource allocators, memory management, security, I/O systems, and persistence.

2. Design and implement drivers and services that operate efficiently in a constrained environment yet when pressed can efficiently deliver large volumes of data with low-latency and high-bandwidth.

3. Debug complex, system-level, multi-component issues that typically span across multiple layers from kernel to application.

4. Profile performance problems and drive optimizations that span the entire software stack.

5. Bring up new devices and lead debugging and performance tuning exercises that span multiple hardware, firmware, and software teams.

6. Understand software components from multiple partner teams, lead the integration of those components into the unified product code base, and drive their continued development.

7. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the US.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

3. 1. Device driver development, embedded systems, and operating systems
4. 1. Working on systems software in a large-scale C/C++ code base
5. 1. Hardware bring up using interfaces including ADC, GPIO, SPI, or I2C
6. 1. BSP/Board Support Package, Operating Systems, RTOS, Bootloader, Power Management, Linux, Graphics and Display Drivers, and MCU (Microcontroller)
7. 1. Developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools and
8. 1. Software Development processes including source control, bug tracking, and design documentation.

Public Compensation:

$258,524/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
