The Impact You’ll Make

As our GL Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities within our Record-to-Report (R2R) process. Your impact? You’ll help secure reliable financial data that drives sound business decisions and strengthens trust with our global and regional stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, transparency, and compliance across Latin America. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, and Audit teams, taking ownership of key general ledger processes such as fixed assets, intercompany reconciliation, and month-end closing—helping us move toward a more efficient, standardized, and automated future.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead fixed asset accounting and administration, maintaining and updating the asset register, including additions, disposals, transfers, AUC follow-up, and monthly depreciation.
  • Perform intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording, documentation, and timely resolution of outstanding balances.
  • Support month-end closing activities, reviewing and closing financial records, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance and internal controls, maintaining adherence to IFRS/local GAAP, and support internal and external audits with documentation and responses.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries (accruals, provisions, reclassifications), ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to standardization and automation initiatives, driving process improvements that strengthen internal controls and enhance efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, preferably in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS / Local GAAP) and ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement and willingness to take on new responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in GL accounting within SSC/BPO environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP fixed asset and intercompany modules.
  • Familiarity with automation or reporting tools such as Power BI.
