Join to apply for the Water Engineer / Modeller - Graduate Assessment Centre role at RPS

RPS continues to grow, and we are reinforcing our Water Consultancy business in our Sheffield Office with Graduate Wastewater Modellers and Engineers.

This is an in-person Graduate Assessment Centre experience including:

  • Welcome Presentation
  • Team Building Exercise
  • Group Presentation Exercise
  • Technical Assessment
  • Individual Interview

You will have the opportunity to meet our existing graduates and employees. Lunch and regular breaks will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and progress in an environment where your efforts and talent are recognised. Start dates are anticipated throughout 2025. The Graduate roles available will combine office/home-based working alongside professionals who are at the forefront of the industry, with opportunities to complete site work where required for data collection.

Responsibilities
  • Data handling and analysis of large datasets.
  • Statistical analysis of data.
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
  • Construction and maintenance of hydraulic models.
  • Client and stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Provide input to development, maintenance and documentation of bespoke software tools and applications.
  • Use of GIS, including software such as QGIS and MapInfo.
About You
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Geography.
  • Modules covering wastewater, hydraulics, GIS are desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and written English.
  • Ability to work in a team to solve problems that matter.
  • Computing skills including previous experience of Excel.
