Role Overview

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of construction vehicles and plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on construction plant and company vehicles.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns on‑site and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with construction plant and heavy vehicles (excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
