Voice is seeking a talented individual with creative flair and design skills to join our team as Magazine Assistant.

Job Description

Voice is an online magazine for young people interested in arts and culture, and offers a training programme for those heading for careers in the creative industries.

You're likely to be starting or progressing your career into the arts and media world. You'll work to our Company Manager and Editor, designing and creating content for social media and promotional campaigns, supporting training programmes, and assisting young people to access events and opportunities. You must have an understanding of the creative media sector and how to engage young people.

You will be a team player who can work independently and remotely, able to handle administrative tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

This is a part-time freelance contract of 6 days p/month (total 48 hours) from 1st April 2026 - 31st March 2027, with possible extension. As a Midlands-based charity we are particularly seeking applicants living in the Midlands.

• Support training programmes and assist young people to access events and opportunities.
• Engage with the creative media sector and understand how to reach and involve young audiences.
