An established aerospace engineering organisation in Warwickshire is seeking Trainee Turbine Mechanics to join its expert team. As a Trainee Turbine Mechanic, you will play a key role in the disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of the Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and turbine engines, ensuring all work meets CAA/EASA and FAA regulatory requirements, OEM specifications, and internal quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble APUs, small engines, and related subassemblies.
- Diagnose faults and identify performance issues.
- Use precision measuring tools and test equipment to confirm compliance with technical specifications.
- Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, engineering orders, and service bulletins.
- Accurately record all maintenance actions in line with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting skills.
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship preferred (relevant experience in a similar environment may also be considered).
- Ability to work to technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Ability to use verniers, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade C/5 or above) including English, Maths, and a Science subject (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
