A prominent sports organization in Birmingham is seeking an Academy Therapist to provide emergency medical services at training sessions and matches. As we continue to build on our success, we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Therapist to join our Academy Medical Department in a role primarily focused on providing pitch side emergency medical services during academy training sessions and fixtures, on a variable hours basis.
The Academy Therapist will be part of a wider Therapy team responsible for providing pitch side emergency aid cover to Academy Players (Pre‑Academy up to aged 16 groups), whilst alsoႈ assisting full‑time Academy medical and sport‑science staff in the assessment and rehabilitation of injured players (where required), the delivery of bespoke activation, warm‑up and individual and group gym/pitch sessions focused on athletic development, and the implementation of specific injury reduction strategies barred?

To be considered forObstacle? this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:
The successful candidate must be a clear었, concise, and accurate communicator with the ability to liaise and build successful relationships with a range of colleagues, players and parents. You would need to demonstrate sound knowledge of applied anatomy and pediatric injuries, ideally in a sporting environment.
While إم essential, knowledge of the Elite Player Performance Plan (Category 1 Academy), experience of working within an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team and a pitch side medical care qualification would be highly advantageous.
You must also be available to work flexibly, predominantly on evenings and weekends.
