Role Overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistant to work in the Early Years Foundation Stage, based in the Nursery at Warwick Preparatory School. The role is Full‑Time until May 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils in both curriculum and pastoral areas under the direction of the Room Leader and Head of Nursery.
• Help raise standards by setting and maintaining high expectations for all students.
• Assist teachers by supervising activities or groups and providing general administrative support (marking, photocopying, etc.).
• Report to the Head of Pre‑Prep.

Hours

40.5 hours per week for 34.6 weeks of the year: Monday and Tuesday 7:45 am–5:45 pm; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7:45 am–4:15 pm. One hour unpaid break each day.

Salary

£21,215 pa to £22,140 pa (full‑time equivalent: £27,224 pa to £28,411 pa).
