Step into Teaching have partnered with a lovely secondary school inWaltham Forest who are seeking Learning Support Assistants to work alongside the teacher supporting students in KS3/KS4 ASAP. The school is very warm, welcoming, and friendly in addition to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all students to feel valued and make outstanding progress in their learning.

The Learning Support Assistant must:
  • Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Have some experience in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Have a DBS on the update service (essential)
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English Maths and Science (GCSE A* - C)
  • Be passionate about supporting children with their learning.
  • Be able to keep children engaged and motivated.
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable.
  • Have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
  • Be resilient, fast thinking and adaptable to different environments.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team.
