Role Description

We are seeking experienced support workers to join our Lichfield Close team. This facility provides a warm, home‑like environment with residential support and care for three gentlemen with learning and physical difficulties. At Nugent Community Choices we deliver exceptional care in a comfortable setting that promotes privacy, independence and dignity. Your role will involve supporting each individual's unique needs, encouraging choice, fostering independence, and maintaining a respectful and dignified environment.

Experience and Skills
  • Good listening and communication skills with people with a learning disability.
  • Desirable if you have health care experience, especially supporting individuals with complex needs (physical and learning disabilities).
  • Ability to encourage and enable service users to make choices and take control of their lives, increasing independence.
  • Ability to assist service users in all areas of personal care while maintaining independence, privacy, and dignity.
  • Effective liaison and communication with a range of people and professionals.
  • Ability to respond to and complete paperwork.
  • Good organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Hours and Benefits

Hours: Contracts available for 19 or 39 hours per week.
