Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Motivate your team to deliver their best, fostering a culture of positivity, engagement, and excellence; Build a strong and collaborative team united around shared goals and a vision for success; Proactively address employee relations, resolving issues while supporting ongoing learning and development; Communicate openly and clearly, ensuring alignment and trust across all levels of the team; Provide your team with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily running of the store, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies; Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and housekeeping to create an inviting shopping experience; Prioritise health, safety, and well-being by conducting regular risk assessments and maintaining a secure environment; Recruit, retain, and develop top talent to build a high-performing and motivated team.
• Sales & Performance: Implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs); Take a proactive approach to loss prevention, embedding processes that minimise risks and protect profitability; Use commercial insights to make informed decisions, manage budgets effectively, and drive consistent results.
• Customer Experience: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction is memorable; Address customer feedback thoughtfully and resolve issues to build brand loyalty; Represent Mountain Warehouse with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a positive brand image; Build meaningful connections with your local community, inspiring loyalty through approachable and engaging initiatives.
