Key Responsibilities
  • Provide orthodontic treatment to patients with complex orthodontic needs (Level 3b) allocated by Orthodontic Consultants.
  • Where appropriate to treatment plan orthodontic care for less complex cases.
  • Support the running of the orthodontic service through clinical governance activity and education of support staff.
Person Specification – Essential
  • Full GDC registration and on the GDC Specialist Register for Orthodontics.
  • Postgraduate training in Orthodontics; MOrth qualification.
  • Holds a qualification as an Orthodontic Specialist: MOrth.
  • 12 years clinical experience in Orthodontics.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary working.
  • Evidence of ability to perform orthodontic procedures without immediate supervision.
  • Good knowledge of and ability to use spoken and written English.
  • Participation in continuing professional development (CPD) scheme and, where relevant, evidence of past participation.
Employment Information

Salary: £100,870 to £111,441 a year Per Annum.

Contract: Permanent.
